REPENT! THE END IS NEAR!! This was the cry of a man on the streets in the 1960s. He wore a tattered robe, has a long beard, needed bathing and was mocked by all who passed him. Now the question I pose is, was he right? We live in a world today when Biblical scriptures that prophesied the end times seem to be fulfilling now. Even the so-called doomsday clock shows that we are mere seconds to midnight, thus to signify the end of the world as we know it. Almighty God reveals His thoughts and plans to His people, His friends, and to His prophets. So like the man on the street back in the day, I also say, REPENT! FOR THE END IS NEAR!

“For the LORD is the one who shaped the mountains, stirs up the winds, and reveals his thoughts to mankind. He turns the light of dawn into darkness and treads on the heights of the earth. The LORD God of Heaven’s Armies is his name!” (Amos 4:13)

God has revealed many things to His servants. He has revealed His great love for humanity and that He has a plan and a purpose for each and every one. However, He has also graced us all with free will to serve Him or not, to obey Him or not, and to love Him or not. Great tribulation is coming upon the earth, and only those who have accepted Christ, Gods great sacrifice, will be saved. We must all turn from sin, repent  and be saved. There’s an urgency in the air. The servants of the Lord feel it, so don’t wait. Pray for your unsaved loved ones.

Indeed, the Sovereign LORD never does anything until he reveals his plans to his servants the prophets. (Amos 3:7)

 The Nations of the world are poised, like a bow drawn back ready to shoot its arrow. International tensions are high. Peace seems like a fleeting dream for millions. The doomsday clock tells us that we only have seconds to midnight, and therefore doomsday. What does it all mean? It means that Jesus is about to take His children home. We see the signs of the times as predicted by the prophets in the Bible as well as Lord Jesus Himself. 

Are we to tremble, wring our hands in fear and desperation? No! We are to look up! For our redemption draws near. As a born again believer your life is in His hands. Safe and secure. 

For we older Christians and Christian ministers have seen this coming. Though the world seems to be out of control like the swirling winds of a tornado, remember that God is in control. He will bring about His purpose in His timing. And…in this time He wants you to draw close to Him. Trust Him. Trust Jesus as your Savior. Now is the time. Today is the day, for we are not promised tomorrow. - gene

 the LORD says, “Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning. Don’t tear your clothing in your grief, but tear your hearts instead.” Return to the LORD your God, for he is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. He is eager to relent and not punish.” (Joel 2:12)

 “The paths of the LORD are true and right, and righteous people live by walking in them. But in those paths sinners stumble and fall.” (Hosea 14:9)

Now is the time, today is the day to come back to The Lord. He offers forgiveness and love. In a world of swirling turmoil He is the solid rock. Unmovable, steady, the epitome of forgiveness. The scripture says, 

“So now, come back to your God. Act with love and justice, and always depend on him.” (Hosea 12:6)
