The Daily Scroll - Faith In The Fire

 The Los Angeles California region has been destroyed by wildfires. Thousands of homes burned to the ground, and thousands of people have been displaced. Dozens have either died or become missing. The Christian might say, “where is God?” The loss and suffering comes in like an overwhelming tidal wave. Thousands of people are in immediate shock. “What do we do. Where do we go?”

This is the moment for faith in the fire. The moment to count your blessings. If you, your family, and loved ones survived, then you are incredibly blessed. Not everyone survived. 

Remember to hold on to the promises of God in the Bible, “And lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” (Matthew 28:20)

Even though for so many it looks like the end of the world, it’s not. While we don’t know our next step, we must hold on to the one who does. He’ll open doors for you and guide your steps if you trust in Him. Now is the time to have faith in the fire. You will get through this!

The Daily Scroll - It’s Been Said

 When is the time of the coming of Christ. We’ll no man knows the day or the hour but we can tell by the signs that it’s soon. How many prophesies have come true. Over 400 Bible prophesies about Jesus have come true. Many others have also come true such as:

Ezekiel 34:12-16 

“I will bring them out from the nations and gather them from the countries, and I will bring them into their own land.”

On May 1st 1948 Israel became a nation. God brought them from countries all over the world just as He promised as was prophesied. 

Isaiah 5:20 

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

Today calling good evil and evil good is prevalent everywhere.

II Timothy 3:1-5

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away”.

Matthew 24:6-7

“And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Just look at todays news to see wars and rumors of wars. Also 815 million people go to bed hungry and 3 million children die from hunger yearly.”

Luke 21:11 “And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.”

Matthew 24:14 

“And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.”

Just look on TV and some large churches

Matthew 24:14

“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” This has been accomplished praise God!

These are just a few of the end times prophesies which have been fulfilled. Jesus is coming soon. Get ready!

The Daily Scroll - Blessings For Obedience

 “And if you faithfully obey the voice of the LORD your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the LORD your God will set you  high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and  overtake you, if you obey the voice of the LORD your God. Blessed shall you be in the city, and  blessed shall you be in the field.” (DEUTERONOMY 28)

Read and study the blessings found in the Bible at DEUTERONOMY chapter 34.

All we have to do is obey God and He’ll do the rest. 

The Daily Scroll - Get Ready For Me

 Chuck was a twelve year old boy who faithfully attended church with his family. He learned about the rapture of the church and the second coming of Christ during his growing up years. Chuck loved to spend time in the alter praying and seeking God for His Will in his life. 

One night, after a particularly intense prayer service, he had an intense dream. As he walked down the sidewalk on the way to school, he turned the corner and to his left was the start of a huge mural. It appeared to be hands, palms out, on each side of someone. That someone wasn’t painted yet. Just the hands. When he awoke the dream stuck with him all day as he pondered it’s me@ning. 

The next night he had another similar dream. This time, there were feet. Still no body. This went on for several nights. The next night a body appeared with the hands and feet, cloth in a white robe with a golden sash. It was as bright a# the sun. Nd finally on the final night the face of Jesus appeared and the dream was complete. 

The next day he went with his pastor and dad to the homeless side of town to witness and do missionary work. He had never been here before yet it was vaguely familiar. He and his group turned left and to his surprise, his dream came to life. There was a graffiti painting of Jesus standing with His palms out. Written underneath it said, “Get Ready For Me”

The dreams, come to life, created a fire in Chuck and he spoke to as many people as he could. We all should share His message, Get Ready For Me.”
