Angie was a young woman of the world. She loved clubs, parties, and everything that came with that. One day she was talking to a neighbor lady who lived next door, who had just invited her to church. Angie respectfully declined. She was carried to church growing up and felt like she was so far away from God, that He had forgotten all about her by now. Really she was afraid to approach Him.
Her friend explained her relationship with God and how she was always welcome, no matter what she was guilty of. So she led Angie in a prayer of repentance and helped her restart her relationship with God through Jesus. The Bible tells us, “So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” (Hebrews 4:16)
If you need Him, He’s there.
